6971 Intergalactic Command Base is a Classic Space set released in 1984. It contains a large ground base, a small spacecraft, a large rocket and a hover vehicle.
Details[]
The base is built onto two crater baseplates. On the ground is a railed track (which consists only of a tiled surface) on which a launch platform for the rocket can slide back and forth. The track leads to an assembly hall with a roof that can be opened to store the entire rocket. Next to the hall is a control center with large yellow windows, which is connected to a launching ramp for the small spacecraft.
The set also includes one Blue Classic Spaceman, one White Classic Spaceman and one Yellow Classic Spaceman.
