928 Galaxy Explorer is a Classic Space set released in 1979. This set was only released in Europe. However, an identical set, 497 Galaxy Explorer, was avaliable instead.
Description[]
The cockpit of the ship has enough room for two minifigures. At the back of the ship is a large cargo compartment with a loading ramp where the rover could be stored. The rocket engines had to be titled to access it. The ground base contained a control room and an antenna dish on the outside.
The set also included two Red Classic Spacemen and two White Classic Spacemen.
Notes[]
- The spacecraft has a similar colourscheme and design as the smaller spaceships from the sets 918 Space Transport and 924 Transporter.
