Classic Space is a subtheme of LEGO Space. The theme lasted from 1978 to 1988.

Details Edit

Classic Space was the first LEGO theme to take place in space. It was said to be a huge leap forward from other LEGO themes. The theme followed a color scheme of blue and light gray, and later a color scheme of blue and white, much like it's successor, Futuron. In 1984, LEGO Publishing released Jim Spaceborn: Unknown Galaxy.

NotesEdit

  • It was called "LEGOLAND Space" in official advertisements.
  • Futuron and Space Police I use the same logo as Classic Space.
    • Bricks 'N' Pieces magazine confirmed that Futuron is an updated version of Classic Space, which explains the same logo.
      • Though, 1499 Twin Starfire from 1987 appeared in a 1994 issue of Brick 'N' Pieces magazine, which is strange.
